"Batul" comics was so popular in our childhood. And as you write this, just wonder why we enjoyed following up with this middle-aged-bald-headed hyperbolic figure. It was pure humour, stemming from incongruity. Thanks for this article Aditya. Wish you could compare "Batul" with today's "the great s" like Shin Chang, CChota Bhim, Pokemon and the likes of them, relating that to social psychology and the "not -so-innocent" chilhoods of children these days.
